Shipping Times

January Shipping Update

As a small business, we work hard to keep orders moving, even during busy times like January. While we’re unable to ship every single day, we aim to dispatch your items as quickly as possible.

This month, we’re on a restricted schedule due to the holiday period and our commitments to the Tour Down Under. As a result, there may be slight delays in processing and shipping orders.

Rest assured, all orders are still being sent out, and we’re doing our best to minimise any disruptions. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.

Handling times

Standard handling time is 1-3 business days (excluding special orders, backorders and pre-orders… see below). Handling time means the time in between receiving your order and it being collected by the shipping carrier.

Estimated delivery times

The estimated delivery time is an indication on how long to expect the item will take to be delivered after it has left our warehouse, and is expressed in “business days” (see below). Any delays in this leg of the journey are out of our control as the order is with the delivery company, although we do find our estimates to be quite accurate.

Note that Estimated Delivery Times and Handling Times are exclusive of each other – one does not affect the other.

Location Standard Delivery Express Delivery
Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne 2-4 business days 1 business day
Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, and East Coast Cities 3-6 business days 1-2 business days
Perth, Darwin, and Regional Centres 4-5 business days 1-3 business days
Rural Locations 5-9 business days 3-4 business days

Express Post Delivery Time

Express Post is generally delivered faster than standard post; however, we do not guarantee next business day delivery for express shipping.

Why not? Australia Post no longer provides this guarantee to us. According to their “Express Post Guarantee” page, the Express eParcel service is specifically excluded from this guarantee. (Refer to their fine print at the bottom of that page, condition #1, which states: “Express eParcel is not covered in the Express Post guarantee.”)

Special orders, backorders and pre-orders

In the event of a special order, backorder or pre-order product that information is made clear prior to purchase, and each product is individually advertised with a handling time. This gives an indication as to when you can expect the item to leave our warehouse. During this time your order may show as being “On Hold” or “In Progress”.

After your order has been sent, you will receive an email confirmation with that information. This information is provided within each product page and each product may be different. In the event that you order two or more items with differing handling times, please note that your order may be bundled into the one package. Therefore, the later of the handling times applies for your order. If you wish to have the items sent separately to take advantage of an earlier handling time for a certain product, please order them separately.

What is a business day
