A tube-type tyre requires an inner tube to hold air — they can’t be used tubeless. Inner tubes are sold separately unless specifically included. This is the most common setup for everyday bikes and is easy to install or repair if you get a puncture.

Wire bead bicycle tyres feature a rigid steel wire in their bead, making them durable and generally more affordable. While they cannot be folded and are heavier than folding tyres, they offer excellent reliability and a wide range of options for everyday riding. Sometimes we ship them in a gentle figure-8 shape — this won’t harm the tyre and it will pop back into shape once fitted.

I’ve ridden on the tires a couple times now, no problems, I purchased them for my gravel bike, going from a 40mm gravel tyre to a 35mm general tyre for wet road riding. They appear to be good quality and are fit for their purpose and price.
