A tube-type tyre requires an inner tube to hold air — they can’t be used tubeless. Inner tubes are sold separately unless specifically included. This is the most common setup for everyday bikes and is easy to install or repair if you get a puncture.

Wire bead bicycle tyres feature a rigid steel wire in their bead, making them durable and generally more affordable. Sometimes we ship them in a gentle figure-8 shape — this won’t harm the tyre and it will pop back into shape once fitted.
