A tube-type tyre requires an inner tube to hold air — they can’t be used tubeless. Inner tubes are sold separately unless specifically included. This is the most common setup for everyday bikes and is easy to install or repair if you get a puncture.

Wire bead bicycle tyres feature a rigid steel wire in their bead, making them durable and generally more affordable. I purchased the Positz 700×35 tyre and tube bundle and was very happy with the products. Both the tyres and tubes were as described, competitively priced, and I was able to fit them no dramas. They seem to be good quality, but I have yet to ride an distance on them as a road test.
