Clarks Brake Inner Cable Wire Stainless Steel W5089SS

  • Stainless steel inner wire 1.6mm
  • Fits all major systems
  • Length: 2000mm (fits front or rear brake)
  • Fits most bike types: Road, hybrid, MTB
  • Barrel / pear nipple
  • 2 Heads on each cable (MTB or Road – one at either end) – cut the part you do not need
  • Packaging may vary

Instructions and helpful tips provided by the manufacturer:

  1. Save old cables for easy reference
  2. Should new cables require cutting use a good quality tool
  3. Ensure any burrs on outer are removed and the inner wire can move freely
  4. Tension wire and tighten bolt at anchorage point
  5. Trim off leaving 40mm wire extra, fit wire cover, pinch with pliers
  6. Test brakes before riding
  7. Clarks cables are safety critical products; fitting by a qualified mechanic is recommended
