Why we love it

We like the Shorty because it fills the gap between a full mud spike and a general trail tyre. You get excellent grip in sloppy conditions, but it is still versatile enough to ride when the trail dries out a bit. Our favourite part is the tall, staggered side knobs which really bite when you lean the bike into loose corners.

Hot tip!

If you ride mixed conditions, many riders pair a Shorty on the front with a faster-rolling tyre on the rear. You get maximum steering grip where it matters most while keeping rolling resistance lower out back.
