ContiTPU
The Continental 29″ TPU Tube 700 x 40–60c with a 60mm Presta valve is built for riders who want a lighter, faster-feeling ride with less rolling resistance. This is a premium TPU inner tube from Continental that helps your bike accelerate more easily and pack smaller in your saddle bag than a standard butyl tube.
If you are running wider road, gravel or 29er tyres and want an easy performance upgrade, this tube makes a noticeable difference. It suits riders chasing efficiency, smoother rolling and a reliable spare that takes up very little space on long rides or events.
Who is this for?
Ideal for riders who prioritise speed, low rolling resistance and weight savings without going full tubeless. It suits gravel riders, endurance road riders on wider tyres, and XC or marathon MTB riders using 700c or 29″ tyres between 40c and 60c with Presta valves.
Who is this not for?
This is not for bikes with rim brakes, as TPU tubes cannot handle brake heat. It is also not ideal for riders who want a fit-and-forget tube with rough installation habits, as TPU requires a bit more care during fitting than standard butyl tubes.

Hot tip!
When installing, inflate the tube just enough to give it shape, under 0.3 bar, before seating the tyre. This reduces the risk of pinching or overstretching the TPU and helps it last far longer.
