This conversion spacing kit by Positz is designed to convert your 8, 9 or 10 speed bike set-up to a single speed set-up easily and affordably.
- Suitable for use with Shimano or SRAM hubs
- Convert your bike from 8/9/10 speed to 1 speed
- Note: Will not fit Shimano Dura Ace 10 Speed
- May also work on 7 speed hubs, but results can vary
- Compatible with 1/2″ x 1/8″ and 1/2″ x 3/32″ single speed chains
- Range of spacers (included) makes it easy the get the perfect chain line
- Sprocket: 16 teeth (included)
- Colour: Silver
- Kit includes: 2x 10mm spacers, 1x 5mm spacer, 4x 3mm spacers, 16T sprocket, Lock ring nut
- Made in Taiwan
Common questions answered:
- The kit, which includes a cog and spacers, fits the length of the freehub just as a full cassette would, but obviously with only one gear instead of many
- This does not fit thread on hubs, just over freehubs

For 20$ it is amazing feels nice when peddling put some serious power through it and it survived
Happy with purchase does the job
Great product good service
Looks the goods but yet to fit and test on bike.
Spacer kit is good overall but the cog is of low quality, very thin and I can’t see it doing many miles. I have now ordered a Shimano sprocket to install with the kit. With the extra $25 or so I might have been better off going with a better quality kit, but I’ve ended up with a perfectly good spacer set and a quality sprocket for just under $50 AUD. Not bad.
