A reproduction of the 1985 Ceramiche Ariostea Italian professional cycling team cap is back in vogue thanks to its recent appearances on the Netflix show Stranger Things 3. The American science fiction horror web television series stars the young Lucas Sinclair (played by Caleb McLaughlin) who is regularly seen wearing this Ceramiche Ariostea cycling cap. The costume designers for the show, based in the 1980’s, have clearly gone to the detail of securing a fashion piece that a pure cycling fan would appreciate – the Italian team cap originally made famous by riders in the European pro peloton Moreno Argentin and Danish great Rolf Sorensen.

This Ceramiche Ariostea cycling cap is the perfect blend of 1980’s retro style with modern day hipster looks. Wear it to the front to the side or backwards. Flip the peak up or down. Ideal for individual styling and personal pop culture influence. Frankly we have no idea how this cycling cap ended in Stranger Things but it’s so cool. Ariostea is a firm which manufactures solid porcelain stoneware floor and wall tiles in Castellarano (Reggio Emilia). A bit of Italian pride here!
